Can a LCD TV Stay in a suitecase with the screen facing down?

I want to take my 19inch LCD TV in my suitecase and check the suitecase in the plane. My question is, is there any harm to the TV for keeping it in a suitecase such that its screen faces down?

It don’t matter which way up the screen is so long as it isn’t going to get broken, remember it’s make with a very thin piece of glass unlike a normal TV where it’s about 1″ thick

I would reconsider. It would PROBABLY get broken.

NOOOOOOOO….always keep an LCD screen upright, you should never tilt an LCD screen, of any sorts more than about 30 degrees from upright. not only are you risking smashing the screen by putting it in a suitcase, but you are also likely to damage the LCD pixels themselves by tilting/turning them upside down. I strongly urge you to reconsider.
